Our Story

In 2015, Arrival App founder Dr. Amy Berlin moved into a new office space. Her office was down the hall from the waiting room, and there was no call light system. Hoping to find an economic and portable alternative to an expensive call light system installation, she started looking for an app that could do the same thing, and when she did not find one, she decided to build one herself.

One day, while carpooling into San Francisco, she met a local coder, who offered to build a prototype for her to use in her shared waiting room. It was an instant success with her colleagues, and the next step was to develop a subscription-based app for others to use as well. Several years and a pandemic later, Arrival App launched and now helps professionals of all fields – therapists, acupuncturists, attorneys, and accountants – to welcome their visitors efficiently and securely.
